A scene from a first century Israeli home, note the manger where Jesus would have been born and the upper room where the household will spend the hot Summer nights or meetings of many. Jesus probably healed a paraplegic dropped down from an opening from the roof above the dining area or a big room. That opening, when permanent, was used to rope food or drinks up or down the upper room.
The faith and help of those who dangled the lame man through these openings, acknowledged by the Lord, forever earned them a place in the Bible. It also make these events prove the Bible as incontrovertible , you can't invent them, and helps one be present there. A view, a glimpse of the past, and a key to the future!
